Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare

ROMEO & JULIET
by William Shakespeare

Why I Picked It:
Not really my pick (I've already covered author "S" for this year - AND title "R" for that matter), but Andrew has a final on Romeo and Juliet tomorrow. He asked me to read it with him, and so here it is...

My Review:
I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed Shakespeare! And how much I really do adore this play! Beautiful, FUNNY, and tragic - My favorite elements. The Nurse is hilarious, Mercutio talks too much, and Romeo, you silly fickle boy. Look where all your moping and dramatic emotions got you! One day in love with Rosaline who loves you not, and the next Juliet. Well, we know what happened after that!

The language feels difficult at times, but oh so fun to decipher. I'm always amazed at how progressive and eternally relevant Shakespeare is. This was fun.
Glad I don't have to take a final on it though!
